This post is simply to ask for you to stop what you are doing and pray for the loss that the Steven Curtis Chapman family experienced yesterday. I couldn't even begin to imagine all that they're dealing with right now.

It is in these times that we all must join together in prayer and reach out to help in anyway that God gives us the power to do so. Kelli, Jason, and I were actually at the baby dedication of this little girl, and to hear this news is devastating. We do know the most important fact and that is she is now with the Lord.

We need to do some Juliane TuneTees™! I love that latest single, "That Song In My Head." It is not what I would have expected. I think she could definitely be the next Faith Hill.

Don't worry David, we will actually go out and buy the record. Peps, we gotta pay for music if we want it to be recorded and pay the great musicians. It doesn't just automatically jump onto your IPOD contrary to today's notion.

I must say, I think David Archuletta is going to win but I really think David Cook is the true winner. Even if David C. takes second, he will rocket up the charts soon! The funny thing is I think people are more concerned over this American Idol battle than Hillary or Obama.

Shania and Mutt Are Through!

I am sure anyone that listens or watches the news has heard that Shania and Mutt have called it quits after 14 years. Another celebrity marriage ruined. I hope Shania moves back to the place where the people that actually made her music, bought her tickets and CD's live! P.S. who in the heck is going to produce Shania now??? No more 80 rock melodies......uh oh that might mean no more catchy radio singles either!

Well, I guess that gives us a chance to pitch songs to her! I don't know if she is a real person though....Has anyone ever seen her??? She seems bigger than the world you know? Well, Shania- we have a great new song for you and it is called "Giddy Up.' You are free to cut it if Kenny Chesney doesn't cut it first!

David Vs. David

Ok, we all know who went home this week on American Idol and let's face it, America has been anticipating the showdown between the 2 David's for months now. I personally gotta go with David Cook. I prefer him to the Clay Aikenish similarities I see with David Archuletta, but my hat definitely tips to both these guys. I mean who wouldn't want to ride the wave of the Simon publicity machine. My only question about Idol becomes. How do we keep track of all these people and seasons? Do they have an Idol Encyclopedia yet that lists all the performers?? I think oversaturation is bound to happen soon. Also, what happened to playing shows for years on the road and barely making it to all of sudden you are on the Today Show and you have played 1 gig. Interesting times this whole digital age:)

Who's Going Home This Week?

Well, it is Tuesday night in America and what does that mean???Rush home to clean the house??? Rush home to mow the yard??? No, of course not, it means rush home, so you don't miss American Idol!

This show has become an addiction for most people and I must say all the press it gets is pretty incredible or pretty scary. I recently read on Fox News that David Archuletta's Dad got booted from from all rehearsals. What's up with that? Does anyone know why? It's not like David should be nervous in front of 30 million viewers!ha..... My only question is, what did we watch before there was American Idol?? I guess it would have to be Star Search. My wife was on that show when she was 14. Pretty cool tid-bit eh??

ColmanBlue and The Katina's Rocked The Mills!

Yesterday over 200 people came out for the debut performance of ColmanBlue, presented by The Fish Radio station in Nashville, TN. It was clear that this is the start of an amazing journey. Congratulations Kelli and Chrissy on an amazing first step, and remember that I want a reserved seat on your tour bus. My only question is, how long until we see a ColmanBlue TuneTee™???

Hey everyone, my amazing wife and the unbelievably talented Chrissy Katina (formerly of ZOEgirl) have created the new group ColmanBlue and are playing Opry Mills this Saturday, at 1pm.

They will be opening for the Katina's, who set the standard of vocal perfection as a 5 piece all brother band in the world. These guys have made a living doing nothing but music since 1993! Can you believe that???? That is true talent my friends, and is refreshing in the world of pro tools, tuners at live shows, and cookie cutter groups with no purpose.

Not only are the Katina's some of the most talented singer/songwriters in the world, they know their true purpose in life. Spreading the kingdom of God! Their music is an encouragement and a blessing for all that hear it. Great job guys! Can I get a free vocal lesson sometime???haha

James Otto Rocks

I am sure you all have heard that latest #1 single by James Otto called "Just Got Started Lovin' You." What a great song!

This guy has some soul and is refreshing to hear on country radio. I remember hearing demos he sang 4 years ago at Dog Den Studios, and I knew this guy had one of the best and strongest voices in Nashville.

It's amazing how most people think these new artists are overnight successes, but the fact is they have been working at it for a long time. Great job James. Hats off to you!

Giddy Up!

It's Cinco De Mayo and we already had a great morning on WSIX here in Music City, but it is only going to get better because Jason and I are heading over to S1 publishing to finish a song that we started with multiple #1 songwriter/producer Rory Feek and good friend and great songwriter, David Banning. You can see Rory and his talented wife on the new CMT show "Can You Duet."

The song we are finishing is called "Giddy Up" and we think it really has a great chance to get recorded by Brooks and Dunn or Trace Adkins. Wish us luck!!! Any day writing a song is a great day!

TuneTees™ Enjoys Cinco De Mayo!

Buenos Dias!

Today was a great day for the TuneTees™ team. Our Beachaholic partners Tim Johnson and David Malloy were featured on the Gerry House morning show live on WSIX in Nashville, TN.

This is a huge program and is heard on XM radio across the country. They also spun a song that the TuneTees™ founders co-wrote called "Uno Mas Cerveza"! It was a cool morning, we only wish we could have been in the car to hear the music through the car speakers!

After the song played Jason's cell phone rang and it was company called Insight Management. They happen to be one of the premier tour marketing/promotions companies in country music and we have a great relationship with them. They're going to assist in helping the song gain more exposure nationwide and we are so grateful! Thanks fellow Insightors!

We have a lot of cool things in the works, so keep checking back and leave us some comments!

Ok, before I start typing what this post is actually about...has anyone been watching that show "Gone Country?" I'm trying to decide if I think it's pretty clever or really bad. Hmm...

Onto the news...

Our TuneTees Rockstar tee is going to make it's debut on CMT this weekend! Allison DeMarcus (who's married to Jay from Rascal Flatt's) is a huge fan of our line. She's a host on the CMT Insider show & is going to be wearing it on the episode that airs this Saturday! The episode airs on 3/22 @ NOON central. So, if you're at home gettin' your country on, tune into the show! Our sweet friend, Mandy, is wearing the tee Allison will have on during the show. We're excited!

P.S. I kinda want Marsha Brady or Bobby Brown to win. Better yet, become a duet. They are SO weird!

Tired of the drama or you can't get enough?

On any given day here at the office, we find ourselves discussing various musical topics from the latest writer's round to what will happen next season on American Idol. We love us some music. On the darker side, however, there's one thing we can't quite figure out when it comes to musicians and their lives. Why do so many get themselves in so much trouble? Britney is the first to come to mind. Did she become so used to having every decision made for her, and she's lost now that her handlers are gone? Or does she just have no common sense? Every day there's a new scandal or someone who lands on the pages of TMZ. Is this because we can't get enough of these stories? Do these artists love the attention, even if it's negative? Let us know what you think, and if you're one of those people who can't stand it, or can't get enough...

While we've been busy putting the finishing touches on the first(!) of many TuneTees, Rascal Flatts is celebrating it's third No.1 album, Still Feels Good, on the Billboard 200. Love 'em or leave 'em, they've racked up significant sales and consistently fill venues across the country. C'mon, you know you've cranked up the radio and belted out 'What hurts the most...' And you have to give it up to someone with the humility to make his stage name 'LeVox,' or The Voice!
